With Strix® controllers, REDMOND kettles can automatically turn off when water boils, overheats, if there is no water in the flask, or if the appliance is removed from the stand during operation. According to Strix® internal tests, the controllers provide a minimum of 12,000 boiling cycles.

The Strix® centered contact band stands allow users to easily position the kettle and rotate it 360°. This means that the kettle can be used with equal comfort by both right- and left-handed people. In addition, the latest version of the Strix® contact group has made it possible to select the temperature mode in some REDMOND kettles. Kettle models with this option can not only boil water, but also heat it to temperatures ranging from 40° to 95°C.
