Using the REDMOND RMC-M110A as a pressure cooker will help you to cook vegetables, meat, fish, soup, and other meals while preserving mineral and vitamin content of the food. The locked position of the steam valve causes pressurization and maintains high pressure throughout the whole process. The water starts boiling and producing steam at a temperature higher than 100°C which considerably shortens the time and helps to preserve minerals and vitamins in the food. Cooking under high pressure limits the access of oxygen, preserving the useful properties of the meal.

On the other hand, REDMOND RMC – M110A may be used as a Multi Cooker to cook under normal pressure.

55 PROGRAMS

The pressure Multi Cooker RMC-M110A features 55 automatic programs with an optimal default setting for each mode. With the MASTERCHIEF mode, you can manually set the time from 2 to 99 minutes. Now any recipe, either from an old cookbook or the Internet, can be adjusted for your pressure Multi Cooker and your imagination is the only limit in creating your own culinary masterpieces.

  • RICE/GRAINS features 3 time settings and is used for cooking rice and other grains. This mode operates with the steam valve closed.
  • SOUP features 3 time settings for various kinds of soup, and it operates with the steam valve closed.
  • COOK has 3 time settings and is used for cooking meat, fish, vegetables, sausage, and fruit puree. It cooks with the steam valve closed.
  • FRY is used for frying meat, vegetables, poultry, and seafood under normal pressure and with only a little amount of oil added. This function can be used with the lid open.
  • JAM/DESSERT has 3 time settings and is used for making jam and various desserts. This program operates with the steam valve closed.
  • PILAF features 3 time settings and is used for making various kinds of pilaf. Operate with the steam valve closed.
  • OATMEAL has 3 time settings and is used for making milk based oatmeal. It operates with the steam valve closed.
  • BEANS features 3 time settings and is used for cooking peas, kidney beans, lentils, etc. It operates with the steam valve closed.
  • BAKE features 3 time settings and is used for baking biscuits, pie, and pudding; as well as baking meat, fish and vegetables. It operates with the steam valve open.
  • GAME fatures 3 time settings and is used for cooking wild game and jellied meat. Cook with the steam valve closed.
  • STEW has 12 time settings (depending on the kind of product) and is used for stewing meat, fish, vegetables, etc. It operates with the steam valve closed.
  • STEAM features 12 time settings (depending on the kind of product) and is used for steaming vegetables, fish, meat, seafood and baby food. It operates with the steam valve closed.
  • MASTERCHIEF cooks under high or normal pressure and features a time setting range from 2 to 99 minutes. This mode enables you to cook any meal of your choice.

4 LEVEL SAFETY SYSTEM

Pressure Multi Cooker REDMOND RMC-M110A features a multilevel safety protection system. If the lid is not closed or locked properly, pressurized cooking will not be activated. In case the pressure exceeds the limit, the steam valve will automatically open to allow the steam being released to bring down the pressure inside the unit. The heating element stops its operation when the temperature goes over a certain limit and continues only when the temperature is back to normal. There is a backup pressure release and overheat protection mechanisms that will operate if the primary mechanism fails.

THE KEEP WARM FUNCTION

The RMC-M110A features the Keep Warm function, so you can keep your meal warm for a period of up to 8 hours. However we recommend using this function moderately, because a prolonged thermal exposure may dry out your meal.

“TIME DELAY” FUNCTION

With the TIME DELAY function, you can delay the cooking process for a period of up to 24 hours. Simply set the timer and your meal will be ready for an early breakfast or by the time your guests arrive.

NON-STICK COATED BOWL

Thanks to the non-stick coating of the bowl you can cook using less oil. The bowl may be used in both your Multi Cooker or an oven. The bowl is dishwasher safe.
